Q. games like bioshock, legend of zelda ocarina of time, final fantasy vii. heavenly sword, super mario galaxy, sonic the hedgehog ( the two dimmensional one) super mario bros, and donkey kong. im sick and tired of all these shooters and cookie cutter rpgs if game developers truly tried to make a game suck you in some more, make it feel more like an adventure, a game that is using their new technologies to drive your sense of imagination. we need more games with engaging stories where you see charachters develop emotionally over the course of the game. we need to have new gameplay mechanichs implemented to change the game without changing the 24 button configurations were used to, we need games that arent games but rather an… [cont.]

A. have you seen the concept games for the ps3? look at how original the storyline for resistance was! it was the first time a video game didn't just recreate history, it rewrote it. And what about Lair? Granted, dragon battles arent that original, but check out the videos at the playstation website, and you will see that the game is much more unique than its predecessors. On a different note, it takes a while for games to grow into peoples minds. Back when the NES and the SNES came out, any game idea was fairly original. The reason everyone knows and loves Zelda and Mario is because those were practically the only games on the market. A. Depending on the store varies the amount they recieve and can sell for. So they have them at muliple stores resulting in different prices for all of them.

A. The developer is the company or individual that makes it, while the publisher is the company that sells it to the general public. Sometimes one company can be both the developer and publisher.
