How old do I have to be to talk to Blizzard Entertainment by phone?
Q. I'm 16 and I want to talk to Blizzard Entertainment by phone because my account got hacked/stolen and I want to compromise my account info with them so that i can get my account back. Should I make this decision if i'm under 18, and if so should I use my house phone or my cell phone? Which would be safest to use in terms of them finding out any private information?

Why does blizzard entertainment condone hacking?
Q. Why does blizzard entertainment condone hacking? They allow maphackers, bots and other hacks (including custom kick) to run rampent throughout battle net and never do anything about it. Are they just extreamly greedy and dont want to waste money fixing the problems? They must really like screwing over honest gamers. I for 1 dont know why so many people still play their games when 90% of all games played are ruined by hacks or bots.
Asked by DARKLANCEFF - Tue Feb 17 16:46:59 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well initially BE was really heavy on cracking down on the maphackers and bots, but as their games got older the amount of different versions of the MH and bots grew exponentially. Also, in games such as Diablo MHs and bots don't really ruin the gaming experience especially since the map changes in each game room. BE encouraged people to not use the MH or bots in closed b.net by making an open one that allowed all hacking, but that doesn't stop the more serious people who only wanted the map shown to not use the MH on closed b.net I don't know how it is in WoW since I have never played WoW and since I never will, will never have to deal with any retardation that may be present in the WoW realm.

A. Blizzard Entertainment was founded by Michael Morhaime, Ayman Allen Adham and Frank Pearce as Silicon & Synapse in February 1991, a year after[3] all three had received their bachelor's degrees from UCLA.[4][3] In the early days the company focused on creating game ports for other studios. Ports include titles such as J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. I and Battle Chess II: Chinese Chess.[5][6] In 1993, the company developed games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings (published by Interplay Productions). In 1994, the company briefly changed its name to Chaos Studios, before finally settling on Blizzard Entertainment after it was discovered that another company with the Chaos name already existed. That same year, they… [cont.]

A. Cool? Probably not cool. But interesting would be a good word. Cool implies that some bonding value can be attained. Diablo is a computer game. I would not want to be "cool" from a video game. That is just sad.

Interactive Design Project for Blizzard Entertainment?
Q. Hi Everyone, A little about myself, I'm a student in New York, and am doing a project for Blizzard Entertainment. My project is to choose a company and think of and execute an interactive design project for the chosen company. I chose Blizzard because I simply love their games, and feel that I am passionate about them to do a project on them. On the other hand, Blizzard is such a good company that it is hard to think of something that they haven't already thought of and could actually use. So I am turning to you, the Yahoo Answers community, to offer me some suggestions on what sort of interactive things would you like to see Blizzard do? Just naming some things you wish Blizzard offered, it could be anything - a mobile app, a… [cont.]

What is Blizzard Entertainment thinking?
Q. Ok, if you play World Of Warcraft, then you know that right now there is a "zombie" infestation which is suppose to be about the soon to be released expansion Wrath of the Lich King. Well, the problem is that once a player is "infected" he/she becomes a zombie and can do only two things. They can either spread the disease thus creating more zombies of both unwilling players and NPC's or they can just let their character die and even if they choose the former, they eventually are going to be killed off anyway. Now for the annoyance. People are allowing and Blizzard is allowing this "zombie" disease to be passed to flight masters, trade merchants, auctioneers, guards, class trainers, quest givers, and profession trainers. It has become… [cont.]

A. Oh good lord, I know. It's so hard going to the auction house without being infected or killed, and all the auctioneers are dead anyway. Also difficult when everyone keeps killing the NPCs, then THEY begin infecting everyone else including other NPCs, and killing essential people, and it just becomes one vicious cycle. And plus, the repairs for when you do become infested can be quite high if you're a high enough level. Which sucks. They might find it amusing.
