Designed as the lexical companion to Wikipedia, the encyclopaedia project, Wiktionary has grown beyond a standard dictionary and now includes a thesaurus, a rhyme guide, phrase books, language statistics and extensive appendices. We aim to include not only the definition of a word, but also enough information to really understand it. Thus etymologies, pronunciations, sample quotations, synonyms, antonyms and translations are included. Wiktionary is a wiki, which means that you can edit it, and all the content is dual-licensed under both the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License as well as the GNU Free Documentation License. This programming language is easy to learn and is a good start into the innards of the computer. The ship would go off the screen on one side and come back on the other at the same time running lower and lower on the screen, disappearing… [cont.] Answered by OE - Wed Jul 11 12:47:14 2007 Which School do you recommend for becoming a video game designer the academy of arts university of SF or UAT? Q. I am trying to become a video game designer but I have no Ideal what school I want to go to. Im trying to see which one is the cheapest but have the best program for this major. Asked by sarukaze - Mon Feb 23 16:04:59 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hi! I researched both schools before deciding to go to the Academy, which I totally LOVE! Both schools cost about the same thing, I think the Academy is a little bit cheaper. If I were you, I'd go with the school that could help me be what I wanted when I graduated. The Academy doesn't have a game design degree, but you can major in animation & visual effects or illustration and work as a character developer, production artist, 3D artist, rigger or other art centered jobs on games. If you're interested in the artistic side of game development, I don't think you could go to a better school that the Academy. If you're looking for programming, you might want to look into another school. Call the admissions departments of both schools to… [cont.] Answered by aaudesigner1 - Wed Feb 25 01:24:41 2009 What does it take to be a video game designer?
